The Story of One Girl and her Forehead

On the 23rd of May 2005 Emma Smith, an Animal Biology student at The University of Birmingham, had the logo of The Works nightclub tattooed on her forehead (albeit only for a week!). This was in order to raise funds and awareness for the charity Operation Wallacea with whom she is travelling to Honduras during the summer. This website will record her thoughts throughout the week and display a multitude of amusing photographic material....
 
The idea came from Emma's good friend Willem Botha, who launched a bidding war between several different bars in Birmingham, with Risa, The Works and the Scream bars being the main contenders. Clearly The Works were the winners of the bid, agreeing to pay Emma £300 to wear the logo for a week...
